The O’Dochartaigh Reunion has joined hands with the Earagail Arts Festival to bring you “A Night with The Henry Girls”.  We have been offered a tremendous opportunity.  We have changed the Houlie in the Kitchen on Sunday July 26 at the Colgan Hall at 8 pm to the Earagail Arts Festival concluding concert with the Henry Girls at the Colgan Hall.  Their original venue fell through and this will be a wonderful addition to our O’Dochartaigh Reunion with the opportunity to be at this incredible concert.

The Henry Girls are three sisters from Malin, County Donegal. Their music is infused with the rich cultural heritage of their native Donegal but with a transatlantic flavour. Over the last number of years they have become one of the finest Irish exponents of folk/roots music.

Whilst their simmering harmonies and delicate musicianship have been revered since their early days, in the last number of years they have also been renowned for their song-writing skills and collaborative versatility. Successfully intertwining their traditional roots with contemporary elements, has earned them both commercial success and spectacular critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. For this special closing concert of the Earagail Arts Festival in 2015 they will be joined by American folk singer Charlie Roth, local chanteuse Sarah Cullen, former Winter Mountain vocalist Marty Smyth and the Carndonagh Back to Brass Octet.
